Sharing creative skills with others
At Kates Kloths Community Interest Company, wellbeing is at the forefront of what we’re working together towards. We are a not for profit company. Our programs and activities are designed to help community members reach their goals and fulfil their potential through learning new skills.
Who We Are
Kates Kloths Community Interest Company was founded in 2020 to work within the North East of England demonstrating how art can promote the wellbeing of others. We are dedicated to providing creative and stimulating art activities within the community to encourage lifelong learning and creative expression. We will use textile art to demonstrate the vast diversity of this art form through a wide range of activities using a variety of delivery methods.

Bringing Change
Workshops
With our organisation’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with the challenge of delivering workshops in our current situation. Covid 19 has had a massive impact on how we live our lives and go about our day to day business, our team is currently working on different ways of delivering workshops within the community.
Learning Packs
At Kates Kloths Community Interest Company, we are dedicated to providing the community with the opportunity of learning new art and craft skills. We are developing ways of providing resources to enable learning at home with support from our team.
Sharing Art
We aim to share art with others within the community to show how the visual art can be used to support mental wellbeing.
“Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.”
